OK, it did work! It's a 1972, so tax exempt, saving me £185/year over what I was running before. No difficulty with spares, except the normal problems with the age of it. It's as good as rust free - it would be very difficult to match its condition with a European vehicle. The boat in the background is also a US import - things didn't go so well with that one. The Ebay Powerseller was a complete crook, and a control freak. I was very lucky to get it here at all, and it cost me more than it should. If anyone wants the details of what went wrong, let me know. I still doubt whether I'll lose money on it.
